| Okay, this is the list that Rolling Stones conjured up of the 100
best guitarists of all times. And you know what? I sincerely hope
that this list wasn't made in the order of awesomeness. Seriously, who
the hell put Jack White on there? and on slot 17? I enjoy the white
stripes but come on! Jack White makes ME look like a good guitar
player. >_> 1Jimi Hendrix 2 Duane Allman of the Allman Brothers Band 3 B.B. | So this is just an observation that I made about girls at pop show
practice today, and really I'm not writing this in a demeaning way, but
it's just funny to me. Okay, so you know what we stereotype girls
right? We also know that guys stereotype girls right? Yes,
righto.
Pretty much all the stereotypes are exhibited in the girl songs that we
sing. They kind of kill me softly (with their
songs..<_<) For example, Build Me Up Buttercup is about
loving a jerk. The other girls choir song is about girls cat
fighting. It's like "Ugh! These lyrics suck!"
Honestly, I'm so happy to be living in this time period where women
have a little bit more self respect for themselves.
The other thing that I thought was cute was that after Scott Mulvahill
was done singing, girls just started flopping over left and
right. It's was pretty funny. Seriously, Scott officially
wins. He conquered the guys with his bass, and the girls
with vocals and guitar. Ryan Frink was pretty freakin amazing
too. I think I had my jaw hanging half the time he was
singing. So was Carly Taylor. Seriously, holy crap.
She sounds like a track off a CD. *faints* Michelle Bossert
was really cute too. Those four in my opinion were the drop jaw
factor people.
Anyhoo, it's going to be a fun show. SO COME SEE IT!

| The choir pop show is this thurday the 18th. It starts at 7:00 pm
@ the FHS Auditiorium, and it's $5 at the door. COME SEE IT cause
all the solos are amazing and we have really good songs this
year. I'm singing Killing Me Softly by Roberta Flack as well as a
small didly on Seasons of Love. It'll be super fun!
Woooooooo!
So come...otherwise...you just wouldn't be cool.

| It's been awhile since I've posted anything on xanga, but I figured I
might as well do some shameless self promotion for a bit. For the
past month and a half, I've been working on putting together a
podcast. This cast features a range of artists and its goal is to
expose people to new music. Many of the bands that I play are
indie artists that are trying to get their names out. So yes, if
you like music, and if you're curious. Please check out my
website for more information.

Also, if you do like what I do. Post an entry on your xanga so
that your friends will know, and they can hopefully tune it.
Thanks a million guys. Have a great week!

| It's too good of an oxymoron for me to not post anything about it.
